Getting Started
Read about the project on the page entitled "Step by Step". As you
work on the project , you will need materials on which you can record
your data and make accurate graphs. Keep all your work for the project
in a folder, along with this Project Manager.
- Perform trial with puzzle.
Perform

- Record data in a table.
Show each trial and its completion time.
- Have group members memorize words.
Perform trial four times.
- Record data in a table.
Show each trial and its completion time.
- Create Scatter Plots.
Use the data to create the scatter plots.
- Draw lines of best fit if appropriate.
Refer to p. 13 in your textbook for and
example.
- Create visual display.
Be neat.
- Write final paragraph.
Be specific.
- Give your proposal to your teacher
Scoring Rubric

You neatly record data, accurately draw conclusions, and thoroughly explain
conclusions. You make effective graphs that are labeled correctly.
You organize your visual display well and provide useful information.

You make minor errors in conclusions based on your data. Reasoning
and explanations are essentially correct, but might be more thorough. Your
graphs may contain minor errors in scale or may be labeled incorrectly. You
present clear information in your visual display, but it needs to be neater.

You write inaccurate conclusions, and your visual display lacks organization.
Graphs could be neater, and more accurate. Explanations lack
detail.

You leave out or do not complete important parts.
